Here is where I officially welcome you to my world.

Welcome.

My name is Chet Atchison and I am 23 years old and currently live in Indiana. I have many interests and I believe many talents. One talent that has been pointed out to me is my eye for things. It is one of the few things that I do that I’m truly proud of. The only problem with having a good eye is the difficult task of training that eye to tell my hands what they need to do. That’s where you come in.

This is my experiment in a number of venues. The primary is, of course, honing my Photoshop and editing abilities. I have garnered many tid-bits of design know how from projects I’ve done in the past. I have worked on a couple of published journals, one of which was printed on a national level. I also have done some web design in the past but have focused primarily on making textures and the occasional logo.

I am always happy to receive constructive criticism and I would love to begin doing pieces on commission as I thoroughly need the money. I hope that this blog can serve as both a platform for further business and a portfolio of sorts. That said I want to make it very clear that any pieces of art that I use for photo manipulation are just for amusement and are not for sale. And for now that’s the end of the legal junk.

A few of my other hobbies include performing in various forms, most recently as the drummer for a ska band. I love music very much and could not imagine a life where I could not play for an audience. I also fancy myself a bit of a writer. I have done some work for school Newspapers and such but not much has been published, or read by other humans as I have yet to write something that feels done, but as many writers can tell you it never is. I think overcoming that might be my next project. I am also a huge nerd and love to revel in geek culture including; tech, movies, games, web, and etc. So you can’t say I didn’t warn you.
